We are updating our policy regarding jumping in lessons to ensure our horses' well-being and provide a more focused training experience for our riders. Below are the details of the new policy:
Horses Well-being:
Jumping puts extra strain on the horses, which means increased costs for veterinary care and physiotherapy to keep them happy and well.
Jumping on a circle and multiple jumps increases this strain and complexity, potentially leading to a loss of confidence for both horses and riders.
Private Booking and Pricing:
Specific jumping lessons must be booked via email to ensure the whole school (arena) can be reserved for the session.
The charge for a dedicated jumping lesson, which uses the entire arena (indoor or outdoor), is £70.
Additional riders to the private lesson will be £43 per rider.
Private Lesson Structures:
The new price reflects the exclusive use of the whole arena and that the entire lesson will focus on jumping.
In the regular private lessons, We will continue to offer integrated lessons, which may include jump position training, pole work, and a few jumps towards the end of the session.
Group lesson jumping
Jumping in group lessons is at the discretion of the instructor. Several factors will influence this decision, including horse selection, weather conditions, ground conditions, and the instructor's lesson plan.
How to Book
To book a specific private jumping lesson, please email us at rayneriding@gmail.com. This ensures we can schedule the entire arena for your session and assign an appropriate horse.
All other bookings via our website or ECPRO app.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to the new policy. Our priority is maintaining the health and well-being of our horses while providing a safe and effective learning environment for our riders.
